The Haslett High School advanced art class traveled to the Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University Sept. 28. The event was a drawing marathon that lasted from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The free event wasn’t just for art classes. Everyone was welcome to attend. From HHS, only the advanced art class students left during the school day to participate.
The event had seven different exhibits . Some of the exhibits included life in motion, which featured models that move around so people could draw different poses. Mural collaborative allowed everyone to contribute to a large mural. Other exhibits included drawing from sound and drawing in the round which was about sculpting.
An after party was held at the Metrospace in East Lansing from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
