The Eighth Grade Invitational is a yearly occurrence in which the eighth graders in band get a chance to see what high school marching band is all about. They sit with the high schoolers in the band stands and participate in playing music and the band cheers. The band prepares music just for playing with the 8th graders then play it with them during the halftime show.
