The Links Program at Haslett High School is a program students join to help other students with disabilities in their classes. A student is paired up with a Link who helps him or her with whatever the student needs during class.
During the week of Nov. 7, a program called Start, which specializes in autism work, visited the school for a photo shoot with a few members of the Links program.
“We took pictures, peers working with peers with autism, for the program to put on their website or brochures or anything promoting them,” junior Kennedy Ferguson said. “They asked our Links teacher, Mrs. (Amber) Dale, who agreed and then asked certain Links to be in the shoot.”
Interviews and photos were taken at four corners of the school.
