Golfer Maggi Regan is midway through her senior season. While the team isn’t doing as well as predicted with a lowest score of 174, she is not unhappy with her performances.
“I’m doing better this year,” she said. ”As a team, we’re not doing well.”
Although the team isn’t doing so well in their Capital Area Activities Conference Red league, key contributors Salia Gutierrez and Reagan Russell, also in their senior years, are having good seasons. Gutierrez’s low score for the season is 40, while Russell has shot a 42.
Regan anticipates an even better rest of the season, playing in states next Thursday. No matter how it all plays out, Regan plans on playing golf after high school, calling it a lifelong sport.
