The boys varsity tennis team is known for its dominance on the tennis court, having gone 11-1-1 and 5-0 in the Capital Area Activities Conference Red last season. This year, the boys are looking to continue the trend.
Number four doubles player junior Nolan Kelley is on a seven-game personal win streak for the squad.“I am confident it will continue,” he said.
The team is on a 4-0 winning streak in match play. Other key players having an impact on the season are seniors Nathan Choi at one singles, Alex Stanulis at two and Luke Bollman with doubles partner Sam Zayko at one doubles.
“It’ll take lots of hard work,” Kelley said.
Kelly predicts the team will go pretty far in CAAC Red and end up in the top three in the area. He hopes to win the CAAC Red league title. How far will the team go?
“Very far,” he said.
