Black Student Union meets every Tuesday from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in English teacher Alexandria Barthol’s room.

BSU is a safe place for all students to learn about African American culture and problems in society. Every meeting has doughnuts and they discuss a new topic every week. Club members talk about current event issues that are relevant to African American culture.

There are three presidents, Vongaishe Mutatu, Mekayla Ford, Precious Henries.

BSU often collaborates with with other schools’ BSU clubs. There will be a lunch meeting Dec. 18 during A and B lunch. Speakers will talk about what it was like growing up African American.
