The highly anticipated night is arriving. On Feb. 23 at 7:00 p.m. the Jazz Night will be held at the high school gym. Usually lasting until 11:00 p.m. Jazz Night offers a fun night of live music, food, and dancing lessons.

“Jazz Night is literally the best night during the school year,” junior Nadir Al-Saidi said. One student in particular, junior Anna Parcells is anticipating the night and is attending for “the good music and dancing.”

“I’m excited, its my first time going,” junior Parcells said.

The tickets are five dollars and can be purchased at the door. Performers include seniors: Nick Switzer, Cal Curran, Brianna Willhite, Isabella Kim, and Divira Pahwa. The Haslett Jazz Band will also be playing.

“I love to perform because singing is a big part of me and at jazz night I feel supported by my school,” senior Divira Pahwa said. “Everyone should come, it’s just a fun night.”
