Formal presentations. Those two words tend to get people’s hearts racing and palms sweaty. The average person does not enjoy presenting in front of an audience. It’s awkward, uncomfortable and can be very stressful.

Even though all of these negative things that come with presenting, I am here to tell you it’s not that bad.

You get up there and in the moment, it’s uncomfortable. But once you get half way through, you tend to calm down a little bit. Then towards the end of your presentation when, you see the little light at the end of the tunnel, you can let out a sigh of relief.

I know in the moment it seems bad, but in the grand scheme of things, who was really listening to you talk about nationalism in Africa and Asia? In the end just remember if all of those horrible things you dreamed up in your head before the presentation actually happen, it does not define you as a person and life goes on.
