Honors Night

Every year in the middle of March, Honors Night rolls around. Every student with a 3.5 GPA walks across the stage and is recognized for their studious efforts.

There is always a guest speaker and a long speech that will hopefully resonate with the students.

Then they go by grade and call everyone’s name and the students file onto the risers to be recognized.

Loud applause and hoots come from the crowd for the conclusion of the night.

If you have never attended Honors Night, that is exactly how it unfolds. It can be a little grueling with all the names being called, but it is very nice recognition.

If you are invited and hesitant to go, I would recommend going and being recognized. Be proud of your good grades!
